I have now be stuck in this game with no equipment not even a bow as all the containers have nothing in them for at least 20 hours playing time.
What is really nuts is I complete delete the game and reinstall and game just loads same troubled game.
I even Delete Steam with all its contents and then reinstalled Steam and theHunter Primal *** same game map shows where I had walked in old copy before deleting it AND STILL ALL containers have nothing in them.
I give up to EW fix all the many bugs in this game, really bad to release this at this time of year with you guys all on holidays.
And for heaven sakes at least have a option to completely start game over with a fresh game not load same old problems time after time Can not even see a option to clear C.

Re: theHunter Primal Feed back
Hey Mel, after being stomped on, chased down and devoured so many times I've lost count, I too, have become aggravated when it requires starting over from scratch, with no weapons.
Think maybe I've found a way around that, or at least a way to start a new hunt and have some weapons in the inventory.
First of all it's slow and requires some patience, for me at least. I've been trying my best to avoid the Utahraptors & T-Rex (the bad ones) and with the Triceratops being the slow non-aggressive one, I just don't even bother messing with him/her.
What I've been doing is sneaking from location to location where the crates/boxes are until I find some decent weapons (Shotgun + slugs and buckshot, .308 Rifle + ammo, .44 Revolver + ammo) I've only seen the .700 Double Barrel once, and had no ammo.
Already found some .308 ammo, and finally today I found two .308 Rifles in same location - one in each crate/box - So, after putting one in my inventory, immediately exited the game to Main Menu.
So far, that has worked with the shotgun, and hoping when I start a new hunt, I at least will have a decent weapon other than the bow and arrow, or shotgun with some shells.
It's taken me four hunts of sneaking around to finally locate the .308 Rifle (Second time I've found it at this location) and now, I'm wondering if the icon of the Chevrons might be a hint of where weapons can be found ?
I haven't started a new hunt yet, since I found the .308.
I've tried this a couple of times when I needed the shotgun and ammo (exiting, before getting eaten) and every time, so far, when I've started a new hunt, haven't lost anything from the inventory, yet.
I'm not hunting Primal on a regular schedule, just now and then (because it can get aggravating), and I'm spending most of my time, on the Hunter. When I do come back to Primal, I hope to start a new hunt, with a decent weapon.
Hope this might help

Mel be glad you can still play since the 26th all I get now is a 16002 error can't connect to server. I asked if the servers were having troubles they tell me "NO" but too many are having this so something is up with the servers.

Re: theHunter Primal Feed back
Hmm, containers being "completely" empty is strange.. as far as them releasing it now, I personally have not experienced any serious issues, and it cleary stated it was an "early release", so bugs are to be expected, even the finale release will have some issues for "some" players, that too can be expected. However, that is the good thing about "Early Releases", they can find out what issues are taking place and hopefully fix the serious ones before the game comes out in it's official form. I have participated in many beta / alpha releases of PC games and have seen much much worse.
Now, lets see if we can help you out. Seeing you are experiencing an issue that not a lot of others are experiencing, the installation of Primal could be conflicting with your PC or other software / games you have installed... can you list your PC specs? Just the important stuff like: cpu, memory, graphics card, sound card, motherboard chipset, windows version, hdd, etc.. also, what games do you have installed?
Have you tried going into the game options / properties through Steam and just "deleting the local content"? If you do this, it's like an uninstall, but does not delete everything and it helps with some issues.
Also, at the very beginning of starting to play, at least for me, the containers I ran across had equipment, but it was items I did not care for much, it seemed like the longer I played and more containers I opened, the better the equipment contents became. I started finding ammo well before I started finding any type of firearms, and the clothing I found at first was not near as good as the clothing I am finding now... but if your containers are just "empty" and have "nothing" in them, then that is a glitch / bug, they should contain something.
Spawning into a server, especially as a single player is difficult. All you get is a bow, some arrows, and 1 map fragment, and 90% of the time you spawn close to either a single UtahRaptor or much worse a group of them, thing to do is "duct" to prone quickly and try your best to sneak away very stealthy like if it's a group, because taking a group on by yourself and a bow is suicide the majority of the time, even with a single one you need your shots to be dead on, or death will come swiftly! Heck, currently my character is equipped to the max, I have the .308 w/ ammo, Primal Shotgun w/ slug ammo, and .44 handgun w/ ammo and a scope, I also have some nice spec-ops merc camo clothes, boots, gloves, and a triceratops caller, and when I have spawned in the last 5 times, I have had UtahRaptors just a few meters away from me... both groups and just lone stragglers, the lone ones I will take on, but the time before last had a total of "8" UtahRaptors about 100 to 150 mtrs away! Yes, a total of 8! That is the first time I have since that many in a group and there is no way I was going to even attempt to engage them, I snuck away, but I guess they somehow detected me and started to hone in on my position, just I logged off and logged back on, I could also hear T-Rex footsteps in the distance and knew shooting might attract him as well... sorry, but I'm not going to attempt that on my own!
Have you tried playing both with other players and on your own?

Re: theHunter Primal Feed back
phaT-X Where you come from ?
Are you on beta team ?
Want to check problem out just get killed with all your stuff.
Quit game with out going back to death area and getting your stuff.
And guess what all the containers you got the stuff from will be empty of anything useful no ammo no guns and you will not be able to get your stuff from game before.
I lost all my stuff by siding into a lake and dying and there was no scowl and cross bones at death area to get it back.
All the containers I had got my stuff from are all now empty of anything useful.
