My tribute to the dying game...
TheHunter,
We had a lot of fun,
Shot our quarry on the run,
Played until the sun,
Was no more.
The community was great,
There was little to no hate,
But sometimes there was clickbait,
And now we’re looking at the fate,
Of a game that will never reach the shore.*
Call of the wild will never replace,
There will always be a space,
It brought a smile to your face,
Moments that could make your heart race,
But now we’ve been left outside a locked door.
My short but heartfelt tribute to a game that I have loved for years and will live on within our memories for years to come. Although it is not dead yet, it is barely afloat and I cannot see any other outcome. Thanks for the years of memories TH, may you never die in spirit.

She may have been put out to pasture, but the old girl's not dead yet. The game is still pretty much as playable as it ever was and I think it will be around a few more years. For the first few years Classic paid the bills to develop COTW. Now that COTW is the money maker, it can keep the servers running for classic for a while longer.

When I play THC, every time is like the first time. Many other games, compared to THC have never been alive. Others are stillborn. And even when one day the servers are turned off, I always hope that someone can, in any way, reactivate the best and liveliest game ever.

The tribute of EW would be to make the game stand alone, without launcher and with a system storing scores and others trophies to the computer of the owner like the COTW.Like that the game will stay alive for a long-long time. But......what i say? I ask for things that never would be

Re: My tribute to the dying game...
There are the problem that the game is based online. Like I said in my precedent post only if they make the game independent stand alone the game can stay alive. At the moment the day EW decide to stop the server there no game. We can't playing without the launcher. The executable redirect you to the launcher if you try to run it directly.1Al wrote:When I play THC, every time is like the first time. Many other games, compared to THC have never been alive.
