And let´s not forget the first one that put the perfect prey to the screen.Roger_Mellie wrote:Predator

1936 I believe, made with the set of King Kong. Although not entirely faithfull to the short story the extra characters do add elements that are agreeable.
Not all too bad for an old movie... a bit, eh... chauvinistic, though.
I´ts on youtube. Go check it out if you´ve got a spare hour.

I have recently found an excellent one : The Last Trapper
here is a link on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfvYt3cuyAI
It's a docu-novie about the life and adventures of a trapper in the Rockies. Although not in HD quality, it contains some magnificient footage and stunning landscapes. Highly recommended to watch with your family. Enjoy!

Re: Hunting movies - What is your favorite?
Well you did not say what or who was doing the hunting.
My favorite that I still remember today, (as I was a kid, and had just moved into the country from the city)
Grizzly
had to be around 70's era, but I remember being in bunk beds, and the beds were right at the window. Not being used to the country life, I could not sleep that night at all after seeing that movie.
What that griz did to the horse, ewww...
kinda funny now, but at that time it was not

I will go with The Hunter starring a brilliant Willem Dafoe. Great movie, I watched it once it came out on Netflix.

I enjoy movies where humans get hunted 1000x more in general but the Hunter was great.
