Tom Clancy has passed away at the age of 66.

*sigh* "Hunt for Red October" is still one of my favorite books.

You'll be missed, man.

Rest in piece, mister Clancy. I haven't actually read any of his books, only played some of the games based on them. I don't have much time to read books right now but someday I hope I will.

Same here one of my favorite books also.

My favorite book is "Red Storm Rising" (Im Sturm), read it ~50 times and reading it right now again.

I only recently found out about his passing.

I found out about him through the game "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege", I did a bit of research and turns out Ubisoft managed to get permission to use Tom Clancy's names in many videogames.

Seems like a great writer judging by the responses to his death on this thread, will make sure to read one of his books when I find the time.
