Addiction

Post by Oldmate »

Just wondering if EW has any kind of support network in place for those of us who have hopelessly fallen
to addiction, and can no longer function in our normal and everyday lives without rushing back to our computers
to hastily switch them on and fire up the launcher so we can loose ourselves in this forever evolving expansive
world of wonderful and natural goodness to nourish our hearts and souls?

Don't worry it's not for me, it's just for some guy I know.
So if you can let me know.....I'll pass it on

During the Winter, I have to search for something to do and with some luck I found this game. I own a small company that designs and builds fishing lures for private and commercial applications. During the Winter we close shop because business is so slow. On top of that, I am a Disabled Vet loosing the use of my legs and when it gets cold, I can barely walk. I found this damn game and even when I am in the shop working on a project, I sneak off to the office to do a little hunting. I suppose it doesn't matter since I am the boss and can do that. I will not be spending as much time on the game as of tomorrow though. I have a pile of prototypes that I really have to test and I am also buying another bass boat to replace one of the boats that I broke earlier this year. We had 4 company boats but I did something stupid while testing a few new products. One of the lakes I use for testing is full of timber. I was in my favorite boat and changing locations and in a hurry, I dropped the throttle, the boat launched, and just as the boat comes up on plane, I feel a huge jolt and a loud crash behind me. Boat goes dead in the water, I look back and the motor was ripped clean off the boat. I had hit some of that submerged timber. LOL

So now I am getting a new boat as a replacement and going to have a new platform to test my products. Getting back to work is going to break my addiction to this game until next Winter when it starts all over again. Nothing like fishing to get you away from the computer.
