I bought 100 (or so) of em...
Have not shot em yet.
Are they meaner than standard arrows?

They fly just a little bit flatter (faster) than the regular arrows. Best to try them out at the range before using them.

Probably time to get them flying and see how they perform.
Pitty they don't work with the 2 best bows, namely pulsar and heavy recurve.

A interesting difference between this and the normal tracer arrows is that Cupid arrows cant be used in competitions. here is one example:

Pros
At first I was enticed by the lighted nocks & 15/quiver stacks for the same price:arrow ratio as standard arrows.
Then, after a few sessions of hunting with them, I've realized that they retain less momentum over distance than standard/tracer arrows.
I've notice a significant increase in wound/bleed times when using Cupid arrows, and less frequent Dead-Right-There (DRT) shots at the usual distances.
I think around 25~30m is where the momentum starts to drop off with a Compound, and 12-15m with a Recurve.
I'd say if you're willing to take decreased terminal performance for more "efficient" capacity costs and lighted nocks then Cupid Arrows are for you.
If you want reliable performance at the tail-end of your bow's range, stick with the standard/tracer arrows.
Pros
- Lighted nocks
- 15 per quiver
- Compatible with various bows
- Less Penetration
- Less Damage
- Arrow does not position correctly on Recurve in-game model (may affect sight picture)

I know exactly what you are talking about, it is very annoying, for me it looks like my personal viewpoint is inside of the back end of the arrow.Dubitabilus wrote:Arrow does not position correctly on Recurve in-game model (may affect sight picture)
Rated: Excellent, very easy to see tracers in the morning when I tree stand to hunt and wound a bunch of animals, can see them harvestable from very very far away in the fog.
Also pretty good for that "Rocking Boat" competition where you have to longshot ducks with arrows.
