Handguns | .44 Revolver (Custom)
.44 Revolver (Custom)
A single action revolver using .44 magnum ammunition which allows for optimum stopping power. It is perhaps primarily used as a defensive sidearm but the revolver hunting enthusiast
can easily fit the gun with a scope and use it to take down small to medium game with great accuracy.
See it here in the store.

I really like this gun also. Very versatile. I like using it on elk mostly. Has good power on the animals we can use it on.
I like the "Custom" look. I generally do not get any of the "reskinned" weapons, but I think I picked this one up on sale at some point (& I do not own the other .44).

Very nice handgun with easy to use iron sights and that extra crack in the sound. Does exactly what it is meant to do.

Re: Handguns | .44 Revolver (Custom)
I have not hunted with either of the .44's (Silver or Custom) in a while, probably a month or so.
The last time was when I was trying to complete the Mission - Hog Sloggin, taking Wild Boar & Feral Hog, with a .44 at 30m. I had zero success in completing this mission after shooting three Wild Boar in the heart-lung area (all registered as body shots) and I ended up spending almost three hours tracking these three Boars, and never finding any of them.
The .44's used to be my handgun of choice, before all the adjusting and tweaking, never had a problem hunting with it, and always had confidence whether shooting Black Bear, Elk, Hogs, or Boar.
I'm not sure about them now, since I haven't used them in over a month. Guess maybe I need to give them another try ?
I'd love to hear some feedback on the current situation with these weapons.

Voted good. Altough i like the silver one better as a side-arm. But that´s just a matter of taste.

Both .44 uses same ammo and have same power. Custom .44 has better iron sights but otherwise both revolvers performs same way.knott wrote:Do these have magnum rounds? More poweful then. 44 and 10 mm?
