I like the results I get with this gun on the hogs. Very powerful & a nice range of "ethical" animals to use it on (which always helps).

It used to be great (1st and 2nd generation of the "Rival") but after the most recent ballistics changes I am afraid to shoot anything big beyond 20m.

Like Hoocairs said it used to be a great till the ballistics change now your better of using a bow and getting a quite kill anything over 20m on big game with this better be a well placed shot and even then you might only get a single lung and have to do some tracking. I do like the scope for it and it does get the job done fairly well on medium game.

Not sure if previous posters use the same gun as I do.
It's ultimate backup weapon with huge variety of animals you can hunt ethically with it. Pair it with 2-4x scope and you have a reliable weapon for up to 120m and still viable around 160m. One bullet in the chamber but reload speed is quite good and I've managed to pull second shot on multiple occasions.

165m wild boar

Wild boar 93m + 132m when he was running (second shot dropped him)

142m roe deer. Hit in the stomach dropped after few steps.
That's just from last few hunts. It's my favourite backup weapon when I go hunting pheasants with shotgun + bow.
I can use .308 to down most animals that sit out of range of my bow when I'm too impatient to call them and wait.
Excellent

I want my money back. I expected a .308. I got a fart in a cylinder.
Outside 30, be kind to yourself and the animal and broadside gut shoot and hope for the best.

Was good, now it's very poor
I wish the scope of this on the .357 and .44 that 2x scope sucks
