Not a fan of the air rifle. Used on rabbits, it can get the job done. However it is much more work than necessary, at times needing multiple shots to kill a rabbit. Unless you are looking to relive your childhood, leave this one in the cabinet.

Re: Rifles | .22 Air Rifle
I wanted to love this gun, but I don't think it loves me... the limited range requires me to get a lot closer to my targets than I usually expect to be, and as B&B says, it tends to need multiple shots on a target to kill it.
I'm sorry to say that a lot of the time I take this out of the cupboard for a hunt, I end up winging something, only to chase it down and finish it off with a shotgun out of frustration.

In another thread about "regrets" regarding purchases - this one is what I posted.
I teetered back & forth on buying it. Once I watched a video of it I decided to buy it. I really do not like this gun.

I don't hunt rabbits a lot, but for pheasant it's my go-to sniper rifle. Deadly in range up to 50 meters.
However, very precise aiming is needed.
I voted average.

When I was a kid I used to use my BB to shoot plastic model planes off the clothes line.
Suggest EW needs to add plastic planes if they want this one sold in quantity. Wasted expense and as good as useless - even on the only animal you'd buy one for.

Re: Rifles | .22 Air Rifle
Too bad this nicely crafted rifle is only permitted for rabbits and small birds.
The ballistics are weird as the air rifle appears to shoot pretty much straight up to 50m, then experiences a steady and realistic bullet drop.
Only 10 shots per can is too few.
Rated "Average"
