Rifles | .300 Bolt Action Rifle (Carbon)

Post by caledonianblues »

.300 Bolt Action Rifle (Carbon)
With a black wood stock, sculpted cheekpiece and cold hammer forged barrel, the .300 bolt action is a classic hunting rifle for taking on big game animals. The .300 will take down deer with ease and is fantastic choice for big game like Elk and Moose. The explosive power of the .300 Magnum load affords great accuracy and power over great distances, making this a popular weapon among serious long range shooters.

The good ole .300. How can you go wrong. This weapon will drop anything it touches, however seems under powered in game and not allowed to use it's most effective quality, RANGE. Owning a .300 mag in RL I am bias on this weapon.

As like any weapon (in game) it's only as good as the shooters eye.

Nothing against it but love the original .300, no extra need to buy as no benefit.

Rated good. As powerful rifle as any in the game but the reload speeds hamper it for wild boar and elk herds etc. Only one scope but it´s the one that feels the best for me. Why doesn´t all scope have that little red dot that let you focus right. I have to search for the center on most scopes.

Not as hardcore as the muzzle loaders in the one shot kill requirement but close to it for good and bad.

I love this rifle. A heavy sturdy look for a heavy hitting gun. Nice sound to boot. Slow reload not an issue, you just have to hit the animal for it to die. Shoot it in the toe and it will die soon enough. 250 harvests with it now, this is an excellent rifle.

Got this as prize for the loadout comp and I must say it is pretty awesome looking, the sound is fantastic, the stock is not bugged into the avatar's arm and needless to say .300 win mag is a blast. Great scope too, maybe the best atm.
Voted 'good' just because it is a single shot. But for those that don't own either of them I say go for it over the original.

Bought in in a sale a while back and like it just as much as the original, it really could have done with a magazine though.
