Verification RM Elk mission not working?

I know this is a "help" issue - but I did'nt know where to post it.
I recently reset my missions (again).

I am having some malfunctions this time around:

The mission:

Thankfully there wern't many bulls affected by this plant because there are no more traces of it anywhere. Just to make sure the plant is the reason our Rocky Mountain Elk are being stunted by this plant, we will need you to take a few out to use for testing.
Objectives

Harvest a male Rocky Mountain Elk with more than 10 typical points.
Harvest a male Rocky Mountain Elk with less than 10 typical points.
Harvest a female Rocky Mountain Elk.
Rewards

600 gm$

I have harvested 2 males and a female since accepting this mission.

My hunt is current.

Should I quit and reset the hunt?

ALSO:

Getting Hooked - Parts 1,2, and 3
Spot/Track/Harvest and "elk" are not working either.
Last time around RM Elk worked on these missions...
Do I need to drop Roosevelts instead?

Hey Bear, what weapon did you use? I recently reset my missions too and I found that the new weapon I was using (the Scout or the Drilling Rifle, I can't remember) didn't work for the mission. So I pulled out my trusty .340 and voila! mission accomplished. Hope this helps. Jimbo.

OK, sorry, I see you were using the Ten-Point crossbow. Did you do them in the order in the mission? That too might be a factor. Did any of the objectives get checked off? Jim.

I switched to the .300 - dropped a female elk - nothing.

I also tracked a bunch of ptarmigan trax and it did not count towards the ptarmigan mission...

SOOOooo...
I am gunna go to Australia for a bit - kill a few kangaroos and goats... then head back to Timbergold to see if that helps.

I encountered the same bug. I shot 4 males I believe and none of them counted. Dunno maybe they where all atypical... But then shot a female with the old 9.3 anschutz and it didn´t register either. I used crossbow, anschutz and the 405 and maybe the 45-70 buffalo for the others.

It´s not something like you must pay to taxidermize them? It just say harvest. I tried to get into trophy mode before exiting and choosing to sell and it didn´t register

I'm having the same problem with the Tenpoint Crossbow. Anyone have an idea what to do? There are other missions that don't register either.

Edit: I found in an older thread that you have to harvest the Elks in order of the objectives. That could explain why this and another mission won't register for me.
