Be aware you can't spot a flying mallard unless it has already left the flock and is about to land. So if you don't have a duck setup, you'll have to be lucky and find one of the few mallards that are already in the water.

Lokey, there are lots of folks that will take you to their duck set up in a Multi-player game and get them to break, and land on the water next to a blind so you can spot them. Just PM me or jump in to any MP game at Rougarou Bayou and just wait in a blind.
