Tried to complete this mission over six times.
A small black bear always spawns at the coordinates for the mission, not a blonde one.
I've done this mission before in the past years and never had a problem.
Hope you can help (fix)

How close are you starting the game to the coordinates? If very far away, the blonde bear may have wandered off. If too close, it may prevent the bear from spawning in that location. (no animals spawn within 150m of your starting point). I would suggest a tent, at least 220m away from the coordinates.

IIRC, I put a tent about 75 meters from the co-ordinates, and the blonde bear was there, about 50 meters away, when I spawned there. I think the mission spawns are exceptions to the 150 meter rule. It seems the same is true for other 'specific' missions, like the piebald sow on LP.

Starting about40 meters away from mission coordinates
Every time I tried a small black bear standing at exact same spot.
No other tracks in area.
I've done this mission a couple times in the past doing the same thing and had no problems.

I believe you are correct.
The 150 meter rule does not apply to this mission, piebald sow on LP mission, or the last mission in the grave yard for brown bears on Hem, or the buffalo Bill mission on WRR.
You can spawn right next to them and they are there.

Thank you, Bluejay. I see you're slipping a tad...the new season is already 3 weeks old and you don't have a '59' coyote yet. By the way, how's the new computer?

Thank you, Bluejay. I see you're slipping a tad...the new season is already 3 weeks old and you don't have a '59' coyote yet. By the way, how's the new computer?

Taking a break from yotes for awhile, hunting other stuff for a change.
How did you know I had a new PC? which I do
It's an HP Omen with the 1060 card, wanted the 1070 but to much money.
It runs frame rates in the 120's pretty much every where I hunt in the game, love it!

I assume you shot the small black bear & it didn't complete the mission?

Correct, I've done this like 8 times now with same result.
I just tried moving tent from 50 m to 74m away with same result.
Same small black bear standing on coordinates for mission with no other tracks around.
Bear is always a Glacier.
Mission not completed.
