Having a marker flag in the backpack has also been known to cause it for some players. I remember testing it and couldn't reproduce it.

I will give it another try tomorrow but it was definitely the motion decoy yesterday.

Managed a quick test tonight and reproduced it 3 hunts in a row. Whenever i started the hunt with the predator decoy in my backpack the scope glitched. If i started the hunt with it in an equipment slot the scope didn't. When it was glitched all i did was move the decoy to an equipment slot and the scope was then fine.

Having them on a map can cause the issue too, without carrying them in your inventory.

Hello guys . Asking a volunteer to help out completing this mission ...
Image
I don't own the 7mm Break Action rifle . So , here is the deal :
- I run and go to all towers ( 4 ) and will hopefully ID a audio clue of an Elk .
- You hunt the Elk with the 7mm Break and if you want also , hunt the Turkey .But since i'll be running to the towers ,i will probably spook any animals 2 miles around .
- If you don't harvest the Turkey , no problem, i'll do it at the end .
tyvm :)
