What time zone are you in? USA/CDT here. If it's not too much of a problem for time of day, I'll be happy to help. Just PM me.
Mission done. Thank you Stan!! :D

Would try BRR but i'm not the best at long shots.

EDIT: Managed to fluke one somehow lol.

I did manage to fluke one somehow. Managed to shoot between the flickers of the scope. Think I found what caused the flickers aswell.

If you know what's causing it, then you might consider to share your fix in this thread: https://forum.thehunter.com/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=82546

Sorry for dumb question, but how does this help work for "different weapon" scenario?
Well, a guest in MP session can use a tent, a tripod or a ground blind of the host, that's clear. But how it works if you need to harvest an animal with a weapon that you don't have but another player has?
Is there any step-by-step instruction on that?
Thanks!

For example, if you need to HARVEST a moose shot with .300 and you don't have that gun but your friend has, he can shoot the moose and if you collect it you get the mission done. That way you don't have to buy tons of weapons to do all the missions even tho annoyingly there is single player only missions for rubbish weapons so you have to buy them if you want those missions done.

Added it just waiting for it to be approved. Mine was caused by having a motion predator decoy in my backpack. Soon as I moved it to an equipment slot the flickering stopped. When I moved it back to my backpack it started again.

Having a marker flag in the backpack has also been known to cause it for some players. I remember testing it and couldn't reproduce it.
