Alphanumeric

Post by SoftShoe »

Would it be possible to update the website & client front end to be alphanumeric? I am referring specifically to leaderboards, comp lists, mission lists, achievement lists etc. Surely I am not the only one that finds myself scanning the list multiple times because my eyes skip over the specific animal/comp/mission I am looking for.

You are not hte only one indeed, i support your request, also i will add that when a competition for an animal is activated, the page reset and you need to search and select the same animal again to activate another competition for that animal when there is more than one comp running at same time, is a minor annoyance, i can live with that, yes but is annoying.

As long as you don't confuse the first or last letters, all is still legible. I did some interesting work on that once as part of an AI/psycholinguistics exercise.

Back in topic though, I do agree. Proper filtering, sorting and pagination on the website are long overdue.

Totally agree. All lists should be sortable by column headings, and have dynamic filters based on content. Standard pagination controls that all work would be good too.
It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!
