Bug in .22 Pilkington rifle sight

Post by Tomzz »

The bug appears in all game modes and maps and both scopes, at distances of 20,30,40,50,60 meters the shot ends up above the point of view (the point where it is being aimed) which ends up being very annoying during the hunts, because it needs to compensate the aim down what something out of reality.

Assuming the Plinkington is zeroed at 100m with a scope, then it's correct that it would be a bit high at lesser distances like 20-80 meters.

It's working as intended.
When a scope is mounted on the .22 Plinkington, and .22 Grasshopper, the Zero distance is 100m.

Looking at the most commonly produced variation of .22 LR ammunition the trajectory is similar to the below graph:

Of course there are differences between [in:cm] and [yd:m], but the overall trajectory curve is similar.
