Rifle range with moving targets
I think it would be great if we had a the possibility to excercise shooting on moving (trotting/fleeing) targets.
Quite often i tend to hit the animals in the intenstines when i fire at them while they are moving.
I was thinking something like the videos linked.
Maybe with one range at 100m with moose at trotting speed and one at 50 with wild boar at fleeing speed.
Each hit would give you a certain amount of points dependent on where you hit (like the normal rifle range) and the targets would make maybe 10 passes so you would end up with a result of up to 100 points (10x10points). THis way you could see your improvements and maybe compete a bit with your fellow hunters!
Let me know what you think about the idea and maybe input on how it could be improved! I really miss this feature!

It would be nice if the target's speed could be adjusted.

I've been suggesting this many times; it would be really helpful because it's not that easy to shoot running animals.

I agree! That is what i meant by the trotting/fleeing distinktion.Kosanderi wrote:+1

To ease up the programming they could automatically have the speed increase during the session (10 passes) where the first ones are at walking speed and then it slowly increases until the 10th pass where it would be at fleeing speed.

More people must be longing for this feature?!? It would both improve our capabilities as shooters (Doc will approve) and put in a competetive element (whos the best shot at the range)!!!

Good idea! Like clay shooting press key to start? Would be fun with different animals with different speeds. More tracks and different paths too! Very educational. I want track with zig zag formation like sometimes spooked animals do!
