Re: The Hat-O-Lure
Dear jack30286, this is CurlyCoyote, the CEO of CurlyNCo, It is good to know that you take hunting safety as seriously as we do.jack30286 wrote:Google decoy hats .
Me and my team of research development and product refinement are assuming you are talking about this article right here: https://www.bowhunting.com/blog/2017/01 ... t-way-die/ .
We have already seen this article, and agreed that there is a risk in going out hunting with the decoy hat on outwith Evergreen Hunting Reserve, while there are other hunters, or poachers in the area. That said within the well managed Evergreen Hunting Reserves, there have been no incidences of mistaken-for-game hunting accidents or poaching within the Evergreen Hunting Reserve hunting grounds since their creation in April 2009.
Hunter education, training, and high-vis orange play a vital role in hunter safety and have resulted in a steady rate of improvement in accident statistics but only technology can close the gap to eliminate this hazard completely. To this end, CurlyNCo are currently working on IRIS technology which will be incorporated within our Hat-0-Lure.
The IRIS system pairs a firearm-mounted infrared laser sensor with retro-reflective patches incorporated into IRIS-detectable vests and the Hat-0-Lure, ensuring that you, the hunter, can feel extra safe when using our product.
Our dedicated team of researchers are currently researching reflective patches that match your Hat-0-Lure color which does not detract from its animal attraction capabilities. Existing customers who have already purchased the Hat-0-Lure will be able to buy these at a discounted rate.
