Animals spotting info suggestion

Post by curlyCoyote »

My idea: Level 16 spotting on the animal tells you the rarity.

For species like Deer and Elk, it's completely useless 90% of the time.
But for species like Dall sheep, Snowshoe Hare, Grizzly bears, it's 100% useful.

If my character can tell a score estimate of a flying rat by a margin of 100 grams, I think he should definitely know the rarity at a high enough spotting level.

Hi Curly,
Good idea, but once implemented, I would not reduce it to rare animals. It should also include fur variants. Especially black bear variants are sometimes pretty difficult to distinguish.

I agree. There needs to be a "Rarity" option for spotting as well.
