We need more birds in the game, and the prefect chocie would be the Black grouse ( Tetrao tetrix) and his female comanion and the magestic Western capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus) boyhe male and females.

Theed birds live in woods and grow quite big

I am all for more content in game but IMO we have plenty (to many) birds in game already.

You can sense some general aversion to birds that you will find here in the forum which comes from the specific aversion to ptarmigans. I never saw people say no to new birds like the grouse or capercaillie before the ptarmigans were in the game. I personally believe that especially the capercaillie would be nice to have as I would expect it to behave more like a turkey. Grouse would probably be more like the ptarmigans and would be rejected by some before they even saw the grouse materialize.

The capercaillie would be nice on winter maps etc. Becuse on winter the capercaillie and the black grouse actually seeks to the tops of the trees, and you can shoot them with the rifels. And rather people beeing negativ of bringing birds to the game, maby try to get a config so you can turn of different animal noices. (like goose on hirchenfield or patarmigans on hemmeldal). Anyways the capercaillie could be an rear animal, i just want the oppertunety to hunt them inngame!

In my opinion we definitely don't, especially anything like the ptarmigan.
Maybe a new type of goose like snow geese would be cool

Ptarmigans manage unite a community into a common cause,no more birds!, maybe with ptarmigans as common foundation we could achieve the world peace. Now actually birds like pheasant or turkey are fun to hunt, and if other bird is introduced im ok as long be something similar to them, but another ptarmigan like species...

I don't said anything about ducks or gees because that have their own gameplay mechanics in the game, maybe another goose, if doesn't affect the balance of a fine working reserve.
