I´ve got a sh!tload of Marten around here (they actually run through the streets) where I live and I can tell you they are quite fun. A couple of years ago I managed to keep up with one by foot... so unless they are in a well shrubbed area they´re just like cottontails in the game

But I´d love to see some more varmit type of animals... especially

And they could smack in the Pronhorn and Bison in the same reserve...

with some MD and coyote...

I´m getting carried away

sorry

Idk what #1 is, #2 is a pine marten and #2 is a raccoon dog I believe.

Personally I prefer big game/deer mostly, would love to see some model reworks but whatever people like!

Apparently the one at top is the same species as the third one. The English translation is the same as the Japanese (where they come from i suppose) Sukoira, apparently some type of coon dog or wolverine like thing.

Varmint hunting is one of my most fav things to do however I could see it becoming monotonous as a video game. A big part of the joy of varmint hunting is the experience of being outside & actually shooting.

Yeah it would be ok to have small animals as long as they didn't overdue it like rabbits, now they aren't even working right.
Seeing small animals out in the field is common and I guess would be alright for the game immersion.
Even though I don't even hardly ever hunt Foxes in the game or smaller animals.
There are players that like to shoot these small animals by the bag full and so it wouldn't bother me as long as it
wouldn't mess up the game with having too many of them all over the place.
It's pretty common to see squirrels & raccoons, (Opossums, which I wouldn't want to see in the game) foxes, badgers, weasel type animals, and rodents.
But only kept to small populations on the maps... I could live with that.
