I think water buffalo would be cool for bushrangers run you could have them spawn by the water or lake in the middle of the map and be found roaming by the water or grazing on land

I think water buffalo would be cool, but only having them spawn by the lakes is a really small area, so a map expansion would probably be needed to accommodate them, because BRR is really small. They could make use of the islands that surround the mainland?

Nah, though water buffalo do roam Australia, they don't particularly roam the outback, this more of their habitat...
