Spotting info needs rework

Post by FastGun »

I am experiencing different spotting info for a long time. I spot a bear 240-290 then I say this is a huge one then my friend joins and spots 200-250 and says not a so big one. and this hurts if I am in a first x harvest counts competitions. Today my friend spotted a 165-210 whitetail then his game crashed came back again and dropped to 130-170 this is a so big drop. another thing I spotted an 85-100 kg WT then spotted again and dropped to 85-95 in the same minute. For me, two people at the same experience level should see same spotting info for the same animal. What is your thoughts?

How does spotting in the range of 165 - 210, then spotting in the range of 130-170? It's really annoying. (animal WT)

I agree, but the whole spotting and tracking info really needs its parameters narrowing. The info for bear, fox and any other species that hasn't got an obvious set of antlers tusks or horns is next to useless unless you're level 2p which is allot of time spent and allot of spots.

Seems perfectly logical to me that two different people would have two different guesses.

The nice part is, if you communicate you can determine that the bear is between 240-250
It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!

two different people can have different guesses but after thousands of spotting the same animal and reaching higher levels should do some work shouldn't be like 165-210 and 130-170 to the same deer it's nice if you communicate but if we are opponents and our comp want highest scoring deer in the first harvest? I will kill 165-210 absolutely cause it can be a 200+ but my opponent spots same animal 130-170 worst part is this animal was 168,xxx. For low levels I am okay but for high levels it's annoying.

But if you knew the score was always in the high end or low end of the range, there'd be no element of surprise ;)
