My theory: When you spot an animal, the game looks at the actual score, then gives you a randomized range that contains that score. If the actual score is 152, you might see it as 140-155, and he might see it as 150-165. Both are right, the actual score falls in both of those ranges. You are just guessing low, and he is guessing higher.
The cool part is, if you are talking and comparing your ranges you can tell that it must be between 150-155.

@ Tod ... Is the guessing purely random then ? He could have gotten the higher guess .

More sheeps on TGT. Tracks more accurate. It will be bored.
Exactly you're right in real life we can't know animals weight by just tracks maybe it's foot is just bigger than normal sizes then when you see it you will say Nah it's a small one
I likę it. Simulation of hunting, right?
