Too much blood rabbits

I dont know if it's just me but whenever I shoot a rabbit with a shotgun it's like the rabbit had like 10 liters of blood inside him. ... its too much i believe

It's not just you. I always thought that shooting rabbits was a concession to the Doom friends out there who want to see more gore!

We love blood <3!!!
But i think the same is just too much, small animall - lots of blood, big animal - god luck finding some .... hahaha

This is an above average amount of blood on a rabbit, because the pellets spreaded the head and neck

Fox also - I shot a fox with shotgun at 20m - hit him again at 25m on the run. You could have painted half a car with this amount of blood so I thought he is right here somewhere right? ... No, I tracked him for over 250m before I find him standing in the open, I hit him with an arrow at 30m and he ran, again, blood all over. then he ran another 150m before I finally collected.
I don't mind the huge piles of blood but make them die appropriately- this was just childish.

It's not something that bothers me really but it is kinda ridiculous to see a rabbit laying in a pool of blood 3x it's size...

Even eliminating blood alltogether for rabbits like airborn birds would be an improvement. And smaller wounds for airshot.
There is too much blood / too large pools of blood in general atm.
