We could have armor so that when animals charge, we can get back up.

I don't think this is a joke.

There is actually real-life armour for certain species that are made out of "Spikes" to discourage predators from biting hunters.

Like this one from the 1800s that was used to hunt bears in Siberia:

notice how its from the 1800's. when they didnt have .454 revolvers to put between the eyes of a bear or hog

I mean we do have some old weapons in the hunter classic, why not grab a spike suit for extra "antique" during the hunt. If that was a store item it would make you move 50% slower, as well as have 2 times the noise of normal clothing.
