A new Goose,.. and a new Gun?
What a sweet combination that could be for Waterfowl hunters... don't you think?
Anyways this is what I would have in mind for a new Goose gun in PB... to shoot the Magpie Geese!
A semi-auto 10 gauge that holds 5 rounds of 3 1/2" shells ................ and they make em...........

I like it. I swear one day I'll have to get me a 10ga.
Also seems like the best option for a semi auto 10 from what I've read.

Spends all the gold and money to buy new weapons in the shape of guns.

Looks like a great gun but wouldn't it completely overshadow most if not all of the current shot guns?

So the reason they make these guns is to only look at them?Gonetae wrote:Looks like a great gun but wouldn't it completely overshadow most if not all of the current shot guns?
Over-shadow most? Not if they are allowed to shoot Geese, Geeses, Goose, Gooses, & Turkeys............
That is why it is a Goose Gun.
You wouldn't shoot a Fox with a 30-06 or would you?

It would make my day to have a semi-auto 10 or 12 gauge released alongside the new geese. Don't get me wrong the 10 gauge lever can make it rain but nothing can beat a semi-auto for the 3-4 bird takers. Fingers crossed.

I had a Remington Mdl 11 - which was just a basic A5 - It was such a cool gun with the recoiling barrel, no gas ports to have to clean- only downside was weight, kind of a pig to carry around but a cool classic.

These type of heavy guns are good in a goose or duck blind,.. where you don't have to carry them so much, unless you're young and tough. but in the game the weight only effects the loadout.....Radamus wrote:I had a Remington Mdl 11 - which was just a basic A5 - It was such a cool gun with the recoiling barrel, no gas ports to have to clean- only downside was weight, kind of a pig to carry around but a cool classic.
so I guess it doesn't matter that much.
I still opted for a newer Browning Gold Light Goose gun instead of a older classic, they've come a long ways IMO..........
