It happens on the rare occasion where they qualify for the next class in the middle of the competition before their attempts run out.

Sign up for Starter. Shoot enough animals during the comp to qualify for Intermediate. Sign up for Intermediate as well.

All good and confirmed by EW at some point in the past.

If they leave the Intermediate comp, they can join it again. If they leave the Starter comp, they can no longer join.

I kind of figured that's what happened since he shows 55 blacktail killed. I just thought we have to stay in the class we sign up in originally. Good to know.

Thanks.

By harvesting their 50th blacktail during the competition. So they have less than 50 harvests and enter the starter comp. During the competition they harvest their 50th blacktail, so they are now elegible to enter the intermediate comp as well.

I love hunting elk IRL and in Classic so here is a comp idea!

Comp Name: Bugling Bulls
Animal: Roosevelt Elk, Rocky Mountain Elk
Scoring: Highest Combined Score with a lung or heart hit with the Heavy Recurve. Other Organs can be hit.
Weapons: Heavy Recurve Bow
Reserve: RedFeather Falls, Timbergold Trails
Desc: Highest Combined score of your Roosevelt Elk and Rocky Mountain Elk while its standing still is your competition entry.

I would like to see more appreciation of females in competitions.

Comp Name: Ladies with Racks!
Animal: Reindeer
Scoring: Highest combined score of your best 7 reindeer cows
Weapons: Any .308 Rifle

The special challenges here are:
- Reindeer cows cannot be lured unless there is a bull in the same herd
- Requiring a rifle makes the rest of the herd flee when shot, so one needs to spot the best cow before shooting

I like the idea of more comps involving females, as some do have scores and all have weight/distance that could be used. I remember a vixen comp, but offhand don't remember many other female-focused ones.

One slight concern, though, is not the competition content, but the title. I'm seeing a lot of females -including myself- playing this game now from different groups I'm in, and I'd worry a little of that title chasing off some newer players. :?

Allowing for (and to explain) slang that some may not know of, this title has the potential of being really funny (as I saw it), but also a little offensive specifically to "the girls" as well. If a man says "Nice rack!" when referring to a female, it's a crude reference on how, shall we say, 'top-heavy' she appears. ;)

I just wanted to mention this to keep you "a-breast" of a potential insult. I don't want anyone looking like a "boob" by saying something crude, even if unintentionally. :)

Thanks for the heads-up. Then better change the title. We wouldn't want to offend any female players. :)

Could you think of a better one?
