I vote for .243. It would be nice to see another rifle with that calibre in the game! As mentioned in other posts before, i'd love to take down foxes and small deer with it. :)

I voted for 7mm as the calibre because we haven't seen a new 7mm in so long and I think that would work really well for the rifle to give it diversity.

I really like the 7mm Rifels we allready have, so i vote for the .243 caliber. It's also a very nice caliber and it would be fine, to have one more Rifle with this caliber in the game. Good luck all.

I would prefer it were a .243, but since it looks like it's going to be a 7mm-08 round I hope it's the lighter grain round, or better yet BOTH! That would be the ideal solution. Either way, nice to see another advanced firearm coming. (Almost time for a new bow though now, ain't it? Yep, sure is!) :)

the 7-08 is a different caliber to the 7mm, many still think its the same round

Actually, it IS the same caliber. Caliber is the diameter of the bullet or the inside of the barrel. The 7-08 ,the 7mm REM Mag, and the 7X64 all fire a 7mm (caliber) bullet. What you mean to say is it's a different cartridge. The 7-08 is essentially a .308 Winchester case necked down to accept a .7mm caliber bullet.
Personal Bests...

The scout with 7mm and the bipod should make a nice hunting addition.
Bare in mind, if you look at the selection you will see that it is a new 7mm round :)

Awesome kiwi. Vote still doesn't change. Im always up to try a new caliber, seems like its gonna be fun.

I think it would be great to have another calibre for medium game. I also like it because it is a bit unusual.
