Re: theHunter Moments - Twitter exclusive GIF-competition
So, I've never worked with gifs before. I've created the file, but when I upload it to Photobucket to be able to use on the forums, it errors out, saying "Upload Failed". I also can't preview it in any other software other than my Adobe Premiere Pro that I created it in. Any advice?
Edit: Looks like the gif file size limit for Photobucket is a whopping 5mb...mine is 240mb, lol. Bah!
Also, when I am able to upload it, does it use the same [IMG] tag?

- I added the text there but you can add it later in giphy too
- this created a 5MB .mp4 file for me
- upload to https://giphy.com/create/gifmaker, use the [Browse] function
- start time: 0
- duration: full length
- [Create GIF] creates a link
- Click on Advanced --> copy GIF Download link (mine is http://i.giphy.com/zwnkCipBkLTYQ.gif)
On Twitter:
- New tweet
- Click on the [GIF] and provide link from giphy
- Add text
Hope this helps!

IMO best way is to download the GIF from giphy an post it as a photo on Twitter.

Re: theHunter Moments - Twitter exclusive GIF-competition
I finally got it to work, but I bypassed giphy altogether. When I tried giphy, I got 2 problems...by using their built-in Twitter posting option, the gif came with a not-so-pleasing giphy advertisement under it. When I tried using the method you describe, I got a link that you had to click on to open the actual gif. What I ended up doing is using the Twitter photo/video button & just uploading the file directly that way (just under 5mb) and it finally worked. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong before, but it's working now. Thanks a ton for your help!
