IJR1 - You were one of my picks! I didn't vote for myself, that's uncool in the Bro-Code book of basics ;)

Just to be frank here but...

A lot of people are just giving votes to their friends even if they have a bad setup.
This is just the most popular community member with lots of friends wins comp. :|

I don't think that's quite fair Fox. I made my picks based on how well I thought they were set up. My choices showed me they know what they're doing. 4 of them are in the top picks, I think because they are well done. I didn't care who's they happened to be.

Hey I know it's not fair but I speak the truth for a lot of people. I'm just saying that's what happens when you get the community to vote on things like this.
Especially with it being in a comp and all.

Much rather the Dev team voting on this (being neutral with everyone) rather than the community that has certain friends to tell others to vote for them regardless of what they have.

Please next time only the Developer- and ew-Team should Vote internal the best.
Like as in the "Profile Shot Competition" in 2013.

Now only those will win who have the bigger prominence and the most friends :?

We wanted to make this a community-centered competition, since players are the ones who are using set-ups all the time so we expect them to know better. We don't want to decide on everything ourselves (and when we do, we get complaints too  ) If the community's pick is really a set-up of a low quality, this will be a good food of thought for everyone and we'll probably be more reluctant to make something similar in the future.

Next time anonymous setups (without names) can solve the problem some users have or? Like vote for "#1", "#2", "#3" etc :-). Using this way the community can vote only for the setups and not for some names.

For me it doesnt matter, i like the idea of the competition. Some shared setups give me good ideas/spots for my own maps.. and thats perfect.
Now offline. Forever.
