This looks exciting!

Why you dont give membership for the first place? It always comes handy, even if you already have one.

What is the reasoning behind requiring the design to be drawn on paper? I've got a Wacom tablet that's dying to be used. If it's scanned in as a digital file in the end, I'm not sure I see the point in not allowing it to be just done in digital from the start.

What about drawing it on paper first, then scanning that in and finishing the color and lines using software?

I also wonder about this condition. Many of us are used (and quite versatile) in drawing with a paint software - but this sounds as if such entries are not allowed... :( Should players which are not familiar with painting software not be discouraged to participate, perhaps? Still, I think that allowing both, the paper and the electronic paint, would not harm. Creativity is beyond the technique, it is in the minds and heads (or not)....

We´ll make a small change to the rules here. Alena will update the top post. The reason for requiering the design to be done entierly on paper was because; in my own humble experience people in general don´t know much about what "drawing on a computer" actually means, and my fear was that many would submit a collage consisting of photographic material, which is really not what the competition is about.

But anyway. If you own a wacom tablet (or is otherwise capable of DRAWING using the mouse:)) you can do so. A vector image made in Adobe Illustrator for example would still be a valid "drawing" in my own opinion. We just want to avoid as much confusion and possible dissapointment in thend by being very clear with the rules.

The requirement that this be a DRAWING will make this very interesting. I bet many submissions will miss that key part of the line.

I understand exactly what they're NOT looking for here. :D
