Isn't this contest meant to be for animals shot this week?Seigo wrote:I got this one almost two months ago and didn't check it before. I just did and uhcapps says it is exceptional

That is a very valid question, i am wondering the same, in the OP there is no rule that say it must be an animal harvested in the week, but worth to note that score is not the deciding factor to win, there are other aspects the judges are considering also, like scene composition, etc.

Since this is indeed an official community competition that EW awards 500em$ to one lucky soul each week, I would hope that EW only considers posts of trophy shots from hunts that actually occurred during the present week. However, like VonStratos has pointed out, there is nothing in the OP, (which was created on January 7, 2018), and there is nothing in the Code Of Conduct for the Forums that tells people that they cannot post older trophy shots for the present week, even if they wouldn't be eligible to win if that's the case. Personally, I'd like to see those who post older trophy shots refrain from doing it in the future in both the TOTW and ROTW just out of common courtesy.VonStratos wrote:That is a very valid question, i am wondering the same, in the OP there is no rule that say it must be an animal harvested in the week, but worth to note that score is not the deciding factor to win, there are other aspects the judges are considering also, like scene composition, etc.
Just a little FYI for those who don't know, the Trophy Of The Week is supposed to be, and usually is selected on Monday. The Rare Of The Week is supposed to be, and usually is selected on Wednesday.
