Ground-shot white-tailed ptarmigan counted for competion "Birdwatch"

Post by Villkatta »

Mode: MP (I don't think the mode matters)

Description: I was participating in the white-tailed ptarmigan competition "Birdwatch" with the following rules:
Species: White-tailed Ptarmigan
Reserves: Timbergold Trails
Weapons: Any Permitted Shotgun
Scoring: Highest score
Special Requirements: No Stands, Towers, Blinds and Shooting Tripod Rests.
Gamemode: Singleplayer/Multiplayer.

I shot a ptarmigan that unfortunately managed to land before it was hit, hence it counted as ground shot (G) and not airborne (A)

However, the bird was still counted for the competition:

Now, the rules doesn't say that the bird must be airborne, but this must surly be an oversight as ground shot birds do not qualify for any competition.

How to reproduce: activate competition, start game in TGT, shoot and harvest a ptarmigan that meet the requirements, but which was on the ground when shot.
