Statistics not being saved

if you are still experiencing your hunting statistics not being saved, please report your cases here.

Attention: We are only looking for feedback regarding the bug when the stats showed as empty hunts in your history, like in the screenshot below:



Please be aware that it's normal behavior for stats to not show up on the current hunt when the game terminates prematurely. But when you start another hunt, or when you finish a hunt normally, the previous stats show up in the history.

Your report should include:

0) Your name in theHunter
1) Your operating system (eg. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 etc.)
2) How often do you experience this? (every hunt / every other hunt / sometimes / etc.)
3) How did your hunt end when the stats were not saved? (Please describe in details, eg. crash to the desktop, error message, you finished the game normally, etc.)
4) Please post a link to your most recent hunt with stats not being saved
5) Any other details you'd like to include that you think will be useful for us to investigate it further

ctrl-alt-delete task manager to close game, the hunter status is shown as not responding- this only changes from running to not responding after confirm quit and freeze, not during gameplay at any time

after game start even if internet is disconected the game continues as normal, no lost connection/reconnect popups, game and launcher is in running status until quit, same error as above shown

I can hunt all day without any crashes- but I don't get stats either. How long until this will be fixed? It has already been well over a month. Peace.

3) I can't never stop the game normally : I have to do Ctrl+Alt+Suppr (French !) and the error code 805306369 appears. Each time !

1) Windows Vista Home Premium Edition 64 bit
2) No stats get recorded or saved, not even when I find a collectable. Has been happening on every hunt since the October 7 patch was installed.
3) Cannot gracefully end a hunt. When I click on the "YES" when the screen asks "are you sure you want to end this hunt?" my screen freezes. I then have to Have to use Ctrl, Alt, Delete to quit hunt, then I get Error Exit Code 1.

5) Everytime I start a hunt, I get the little acheivement reached overlay on the top left of the screen saying, "New Acheivement Reached 500 .300 rifle harvests" as soon as I spawn onto any reserve. I am not experiencing any game crashes.

What you are suggesting here is the EXCEPTION, not the rule! So how can you come here and say: "well you know we just can fix this situation, only, the other 99% of them, it's not our problem." ??? The game still don't register tracks and spot when it crashes and that was from the beginning, it's not for a days or two. Plus there are some other exceptions people told you about it (I read carefully the forum posts about this aspect), but you forgot to mention them: game registers in some area tracks and spots but if you move away, in another spot of the same map, it won't. We want a fix for EVERY situation, not just the one you say here. That's nothing comparing with the real problem. If you really wanna help, please comply and deal with the whole problem. Please also solve the crashes. It's been almost 2 months now and you still don't have a fix, which, don't get me wrong, it's embarrasing for your company. My patience and my friends' patience is running thin here. We have the impression that you speak but you don't know to LISTEN.

problem: I noticed that I haven't received an achievement for the first kills of sitka deer and arctic fox under animal achievements. Interestingly, the arctic hare was recorded. I haven't harvested a bison yet so I'm unsure if that would be an issue also. Under the hunt itself, both the sitka deer and arctic fox are recorded for both achievements.

2) I've had several kills recently that I cannot harvest/first time the harvest didn't register
3) The host ended game normally in MP mode, Hirschfelden reserve
4) I shot a pheasant 6 times with the .22 pistol on the ground and it wouldn't die. When it finally did die, it was swallowed into the ground. I tried to harvest it but was unable to. I went away and saw the marker to harvest it. I did harvest it and the score came up as "?" which I've never seen before. The host ended the game and when I went to look at the stats, it did not show this harvested pheasant.
5) Right before this occurred, I found a pheasant stuck in the river. I could hear it flap its wings but it didn't seem to be able to move. I shot it and it died but it was standing up. Before I could harvest it, I heard another bird (see above) and shot that one. After I harvested bird #2, the host ended the game before I could harvest bird #1.
