No sound of attacking Feral Hogs in Piccabeen Bay .

Postby DYEUZ » December 21st, 2017, 3:51 pm

Animal bug

DYEUZ
Piccabeen Bay reserve
Multi player game ( solo also , imo )

- This is the second time i get attacked / run over by a FH , in the same multi game , without even hearing a single squeal / sound / noise .
- The calls they make are now visible on the Huntermate and we can hear them , but the attack is silent .

Steps to reproduce :
- Enter or make a multi player game ( i also think that a solo hunt will have that issue ) , go into an area where FH are found and try to make them attack you .

I just tried this on my end and it seems to be the case for all feral hogs throughout the game. I'll make this into a task for our sound designer, thanks for reporting DYEUZ :)

Thanks, I did not know they where gone! But Iwe been sure Iwe heard them squeal several times on Piccabeen Bay without visibility on the huntermate too. But my male neighbour here where I live squeal identically, so its easy to be comfused! Is the sound bug for both males and females? ;)

It's been reported numerous times, by numerous people, for quite some time now. ;)

Can confirm: You can hear steps and calls from feral hogs now, but the attack is still silent - probably not intended!

This might be related to any and every reserve where Feral Hogs inhabit. I got nailed three times yesterday at Bushrangers Run, and a couple of times at Piccabeen Bay a few days ago. :?

Little reminder: Ninja pigs are still around. Just got mauled by a hog on BRR, it never made a sound.
