Fearless Euro Rabbit

Today's Daily mission brought me to VDB.
While running around I saw a rabbit and was quite happy it did not flee before I could spot it.
As the only ethical weapon, I had was the cable-backed bow I did not spend any attention an ran on until I was standing 7.8 m in front of the rabbit which was still sitting in the same spot next to a burrow.
I changed weapons to the bow and manage to miss it three times before I finally hit it (still sitting).

After the hunt I checked the score sheet, which stated "fleeing to the burrow":

I know similar behavior from the deer in Piccabeen Bay but never have seen anything like that on rabbits.
