Floating Objects / Landscape Defects

Post by NAOutdoors »

Please post coordinates to floating objects/rocks and spikes that you have found throughout the environments. The ones that we are most interested in are the most noticeable ones. If you find a set of floating rocks while crawling through some think growth areas, these are not what we are looking for (yet) as they can not be seen while walking the landscape.

These issues will need to be corrected manually and will take some time, for this reason these items will not be on the top priority list.

What to post
Location:
Object: (rocks, box, barrel etc...)
Coordinates:

With this information you will not need to post screenshots of each set of objects that you find.

Location: loggers point
Object: tree
Coordinates: -8.484, 5.070
link to co-ordinates picture

settings: max everything, scope optimisation off, 1360x768 resolution
did not try looking through scope or binoculars
bottom of tree is missing at all angles: screenshot

just want to check something here, when you say 'spikes' do you mean when the ground looks like a pyramid, with very sharp edges, and a distinct point at the top?

if so, then there is one point like that on the west side of the north canyon road of whitehart. i would look for it but i am only a guest :(

I'll see if I can locate it. Thanks

just found alot more floating stuff in my latest hunt. quite a few of these were literally right next to each other.
they also seem to be mostly the small dead trees that have been cut down.

all floating objects were on maximum settings, scope optimisation off, 1360x768 resolution.
i have not checked if the bug occured when viewing through the binoculars

These are rocks with no collision. A lot of the dead tree limbs on the ground and some rocks (small & medium) have no collision so it's easier to move through-out the hunting areas. If it's a really big rock then you should not be able to walk though it. ;)
