I guess I need to fatten up my signature board. looking kinda empty.
Guess I'll try some wood grouse as I haven't hunted them yet at all.

Re: Next Gen Mini-Comp R2 #40
Congrats to the winners! I forgot how wide the tree "blocks" (don't really know what it's called) are sometimes. Even tho I only hunted for an hour, it seemed like it used to be easier to spot Black Tails, they had a few places they always gravitated to, and in groups of males. This hunt the males were alone and far and few between (even track wise)

Wow! What a finish! I guess EduT proved that there ARE some big blacktail on Whitehart after all! Very nice!
DC, it's nice to see you! And yes, you've got some hunting to do - That's a very empty signature board you have! If you want to catch up with the grouse, give me a holler - I've got a sweet spot if you've got a crossbow pistol.
It was good to see several people pop in and get some scores on the board. I was starting to wonder if my pitiful attempts was going to stay in third place! It's all good though... just as long as a certain Cannuck and/or Buckeye are looking up at my better score at the end...
Congratulations to EduT, Faultier, Catz, and also to everyone that was able to post scores. I think trying to decide whether to keep an animal or not, and where to place it knowing it could not be moved, was a bit tricky. It made me a bit glad that I only had tie for the one attempt, as I didn't have to question my entry at all.
Looking forward to the next comp - hope to see everyone there!

Re: Next Gen Mini-Comp R2 #40
Congratulations EduT and Faultier and to everyone that got some scores posted. It took alot of walking around to find some bucks to shoot, mostly "normal" size. I had gotten a 194 a few weeks ago, was hoping to see something like that but nope! Oh well.....I'm glad I could just get a finished score up there, wasn't expecting to place though:) Thanks for the comp BCKidd.
