Re: Next Gen Mini-Comp R2 #10
There were some huge elk, that's for sure! A lot of scores went up quickly in the last few hours!
I tried sneaking a hunt in at work this afternoon, as my boss left a few minutes before 3PM today. Usually when she leaves at that time, she's gone for the day, so I thought I could run a game before it was time for me to go home, as now I was the only one left in the office. That didn't go so well. Turns out that she just left to grab a late lunch and was back for a 3:00 meeting with others that arrived! At that point, my game was already running and would count as an attempt anyways, so I just turned off the sound, tried to keep the game window visible often and hoped for the best. No such luck, though. I was able to make my fourth attempt while cooking dinner, but no luck then, either. Oh, well, we can't be lucky all the time, right?
Congrats to the winners ...and to all of us that worked hard on this one!

Eh, some of us like to shoot real animals with real weapons and that's not usually a fast process. Plus, some of us still need to work for a living. Put the two together and there's not a whole heck of a lot of time for pixel shooting. And with the event currently available, I've been prioritizing that. I'll be back around before long.CatznCurlz wrote:Thanks BC! I know...I told her she needs to get back on here!BCKidd wrote: Sometimes all we can do is try. You did better than Ashley. Working for a living is no excuse for not shooting pixels. It's just a valid reason not to spend as much time at doing that as others may spend. I'm doing terrible with the event, as I'm not doing many MP games as I should with that. I have this weekend free, so perhaps I can meet up with friends and fill in a few more checkbooks.
And yes- we miss you! I hope you can come back and join us soon! You're missed!
