Time is never wasted if you were enjoying what you were doing during that time. :)

Good point. ;)

I think I remember something about "Little Nicholas" and of course we know about The New Yorker magazine... another great artist. :(

We must've been on the same map Faultier. I saw nothing either in the 4hr hunt I went on. ;)

Ye, that could be very possible. :D Sometimes you walk out of the southern lodge and run into a group of bucks just a few moments later, and sometmes you gotta work a little harder (and still end up with nothing)
But I don't mind not having the trophies gifted to us . I tried a different route this time (starting in the north) to cover the possible mule deer spots there, but that must've been a mistake.
Next time I don't see any muley with antlers within the first 2-3 hours , I'm might just restart and try again. :)

Let's see what our 2nd attempts have to offer. Good luck to everyone without a score so far ;)

I went in needing a 170 WT and a 200 Mule. I came out the other side still needing both. But hey, I think I shot a new personal best WT entry for my Hall of Shame... 32.5983. I'll crack that hard nut yet...

At least you were able to post something. I never found a single decent Mule Deer and never even came close to a 170 WT either- we're in the same boat. It was like LP was silent- nothing moved or stirred worth shaking a stick at. I'm goin' in for my 2nd attempt now- hopefully with better results than my last one. ;)

Wow, nice hunt you have going Faultier! You're crushing the competition! I think BCKidd needed one of those 200+ mule deer.

I'm still in attempt #2.. not a single male muley yet, but I did get a couple of whitetails that made me smile :)

EDIT: Ok, #2 done - I'm falling asleep at the keyboard. Can't hunt that way! :( Only tracked 2 muley bucks the whole time. The only times I saw one of them was when he was too close to shoot - range 140-190.

Oh well, at least I got that big whitetail - so it wasn't a total loss. One down, four to go to crack the nut. :)

It started with a very empty map again but then i finaly found a group of males. And what a group that was  2 higher scoring deer (I spotted them with x-220 the other x -225) and on top a non typical scoring 209 :o
The NT didn't count for the mission but now the nut is cracked and i got a score to be satisfied with :D

 Splainin --- Thats a very white whitetail  grats and that Buck looks great too.
 TheWind --- Ye , looking good so far ;) thanks. And hats off for completing the spicy mission.I'm still struggling with the "triple-kill" part

here is the twisted guy.

Thanks! I had many attempts. I don't have a 10 gauge so I did it with the 12 at about 30m. When I got them they were broadside, on a side hill. It's luck just getting them all there at the same time and tightly grouped enough.

Nice hunt OED!
