I actually have a question about part 1. It states five shots only, to be clear in my mind, does that mean that I can shoot and harvest any 5 critters I want to fill that submission of Part 1?

Well, it does also say "ethically", so no shooting critters with your rifle that would get you a letter from Doc! No bunnies, ratbirds nor foxes.

Exactly. As long as it is an ethical kill it would count.
