Well Happy Independence Day anyway brah!! OH Man, now I know how quickly you Yanks cut loose from the British monarchy... one day you're like all lovey dovey, and dissing on France and Spain, and the next day you're like "So, like, what have you Limeys done for us lately? We want a divorce, and we're keeping the kids!!" :o  :? (P.S.>> I think you secretly hold a grudge because it's the "British Bolt Action Rifle.) :geek:

Hey Thanks! It's been 3 days of our new puppy being scared shtless from all the explosions. I've got a lot of "enthusiastic" neighbors and a new law in Ohio - you can legally shoot off fireworks for 4 days" ... What, like before? We didn't need no stinking permission" .. Oh hell no. We can buy really big stuff in Michigan, which is like 10 miles to a really good fireworks store for me. Anyhow, yeah, the pupper has had a few rough nights.
Naw man, it wasn't like that. First, tried that "Lets have tea" BS and we want this, we want that" and it just became, I don't know, kind of like England was using us like a Btch, then we had these other fancy dress types who conned the Indians up north and wanted us to learn French. It was just too stressful so we declined. It was all a mess but in the end, we kicked back, manipulated, stole and conquered exactly like that with which we fought. The human race is interesting. We call ourselves a "Civilized People"....Yet look at what we are still capable of doing to another. Advanced, intelligent species? Nope, not there yet. Look at Russia, we have not advanced past the bronze age socially. We've only advanced our ways of imposing misery. But I digress...... Yeah, like Americas biggest day of all! and Englands worse defeat in history. The Ying and the Yang

Oh, and I meant what I said, I'd take you on my team any day!!! .... but with extra ammo ;)

Sheesh... I had a busy day and just now pop on to check on how many scores have been posted... and all I see are a bunch of guys clucking away like hens? And NO SCORES YET?? What the heck, guys? I can't always be the first to post something!
I hope to his this tomorrow, but I expect to see some results posted before then. It can't be THAT hard to hit three deer! ;)

(Aww, Rad... poor puppers. :( I'm actually not a huge fan of fireworks myself. I don't mind them far away, but hate being close.)

Couldn't find a single deer with the "Crab-Claws" so nothing good to submit from this time.
No luck regarding the comp but i got some nice critters along the way. :D
It can only get better on the next attempt.

Black Bear : 23.6346

Albino WT : 115.1971
The .303 might not have the best penetration but that doesn't have to be a disadvantage with the rules we got this time.
It was the first rifle i got after the free .243 and i thought it would be a good choice to take on the feral hogs.... oh boy was i wrong .Spent more time tracking wounded pigs than anything else. good times

@ BC great WT ;) that's bigger than my PB

Yep. To have transformed from a ragtag collection of local militias into the steadfast force that defeated the most powerful nation on Earth... was a singular achievement, and at the time... inconceivable. Just mind boggling.

FYI, I'm bringing the lightest weapon in the group, and only half a box of ammo. I won't need them all, the rust is gone  ...but thanks again for reminding me... again.... (I can see that you've already, conveniently, forgotten 1812.... :D )

Sadly, non-typicals and sleeping animals do not count. I found that out the hard way a while back.

There will be occasional comps that allow for NT's, but it will be specified if so.

Glad to see some scores posted! :D
