Well, I hunted and tracked my butt off on SC and just couldn't do anything with it. I also ran down to the river for a few hours. the annual walleye run is going on.

Happy and a bit surprised i made it to the top 3 with that tiny elk and only a mediocre Roo. 
Tried hard to find a better RE with success, but then failed at hitting the Lung
Settlers is still a pain in the ...backside
up and down all the time, small trees blocking the vision and once you find something worth shooting theres always a rock or treestump waiting to hide the target.

I feel a little better knowing some others had a hard time with this as well. I was finding the Roosies, and was happy with their sizes, but just could not get that heart/lung shot WITH the required distance. I'm STILL mad at myself for just forgetting that part of the RoE when I found my first elk!
-Rad, you're just lucky that I ran out of time and luck myself; 3 of the 5 elk I did get would have put my score ahead of yours, if only the shots were good!
