Hi, I'm thinking of participating in the mini comp but I didn't understand how to submit etc...! Am I stupid or/aged? Friendly to all.

maybe a bit late but I got 2 questions
Do only animals that can be submitted (shot according to the R.O.E.) count towards the 4 harvests rule ?
If I dont want to make submissions from a hunt, do i still have to post the hunt on here within 90 min. ?

Well, at least I proved I *can* hit the broad side of a barn. Sadly, I also hit the side of a tree and messed up a nice shot on that second bull elk! The bark exploded when I hit - argh!
This was the first time I've experienced the elk coming in to the call but then suddenly taking off because wolves started chasing them. That was frustrating! I've seen them being chased, but not ones I was actively trying to get.

I'm cutting my losses tonight with this one - attempt made, 2 elk harvested, but no viable score to submit. Time used: 1h 39m 44s

Sorry for the tardy response Faultier.

1) Yes, you are only allowed to harvest a maximum of four per expedition with a bow, (you can shoot as many as you want with other weapons) of course each submission allows only two, so if you harvest four with a bow you can pick the best two from each expedition you go on that will give you your lowest score.

2) No, you don't have to submit any animals if you aren't happy with the score. You only have to keep track of your time like you see others doing. I hope that helps.

Here is a recap:
A MAXIMUM OF 4 ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK HARVESTED- per entry with required weapon.
OTHER ELK- can be harvested with other weapons. These do not count toward your score.
