NO SLEEPERS Simple
NO PLATFORMS Easy
SAME HUNT OK
NO MISSES Hard
SUBMITTED ANIMALS MUST DIE FROM ONE SHOT Difficult
MAX DISTANCE Under 100 Doable
MAX DISTANCE Over 200 Very Hard
MAX DISTANCE Over 300 Perfect Guess
BIG ROE Pure Luck
ATTEMPT TIME: 10 hours OK
OTHER ANIMALS CAN BE HARVESTED Not advisable
100% Harvest Value Near to Impossible
Finding a Harvest After a bad shot Doable but Very difficult
   Agreed!
 Very good analysis! Yes indeed, t'ain't gonna be at all easy. Good thing 100 % HV isn't a requirement. The "No misses" tho' can be gone- so it is. It makes it a lil' less devastating, I know, been there done that... ;) Respect,

BCKidd.

Well, I'm choosing to look at this with a positive spin. "I shot every single one of the roe deer that I heard and/or saw." That sounds pretty nice! :D

Too bad it means that in over an hour of hunting, from the lodge at the top down to the bottom of the river... there was only ONE female roe deer that made a peep!
I didn't even hear a single squawking spooked "run away!" sound! There were more red deer than I think I've ever seen, but the RNG gave me nothing for roe.

That's ok... I know I can try again, and I'm happy with my other victories today. I was able to complete the very hard Daily Mission with only about 2 hours to spare, giving me 2000 gm$ and 50 em$, plus I won 500 em$ from a guessing game from TK's (EW's) stream this morning. I'm quite satisfied with that for today! :)

You're doing something wrong if you can't find roe on VDB. First of all try this routine. Star about 8, more light that way. Go up the river around the first island. I got my 3 up there in 20 minutes after ******* around with a bear and fox. There's opportunity for making long shots. Spook them up on a hill even better. You get more distance for your bang that way. Then, FT to the south lodge. go downhill to the river and follow the river north. Lots of roe. They are other places too, but that will get you all you need. I would avoid shooting them in the water at long distance unless you are elevated. Like invisible rocks, there can be invisible water.

Yeah, I was shocked I didn't hear more, and super-shocked I didn't spook anything! 8AM is my happy time for starting. I usually start from the bottom and head up, but this time I figured, what the heck!
