Well, I don't want to say I wasted 1h 42m 25s, as I am increasing my low spotting and tracking skills, but I have no score to post. The only male I saw, I shot, and although I did get 100$ HV... it was too close.
I'm not sure how much time I'll get in tomorrow before it ends, but I do hope to at least try again...

Well, it looks like I failed on this one. I finally managed to bet back on for another try a little over an hour before the end time. I managed to get one Axis buck, and had two more coming in. One of those came in too close to count so out came the Snakebite... and it wasn't a good shot. I'll have to track him now, and the other one took off, so that's it for me. I just wish I remembered to take a trophy shot with this guy!

You weren't the only one. It was tough to get 100% HV, and to try and get them at the required distance. I messed up on a couple and shot them at less than 30 meters, not to mention a few that weren't 100 % HV. There is always the next comp. I hope to do better there as well. Again though a distance requirement is in place and Heart/Lung must be hit. So we shall see how it goes. Respectfully,

Splainin', I bet that one didn't even look like it had any antlers at all- would be classified as antlerless. I've seen them that small too, thought they were does until I picked them up. It would have been cool to have a picture for sure. Looks like you were huntin' with a rifle anyway. You were aware that this was a handgun comp, weren't you? Or did you pull a Radamisunderstood...? I am SO embarrassed!!! I remembered reading earlier that it was a handgun comp, but in my rush to review the RoE and get an entry in, I "Radamissed" that and forgot!!
