Just to be clear, do animals need to be killed with a headshot or does one need to avoid headshots? The way this is currently worded, I'm reading this as all organs except the skull/brain/neck must not be hit. In other words, headshots required. But I'm wondering if it's a grammar thing and it's supposed to say Lung shots required and the Skull/Brain/Neck must not be hit.

The way it's currently worded is confusing to me so I just want to be sure.

"Lungs/other organs except Skull/Brain/Neck must not be hit." I'm pretty sure he means they must not be hit. The Lungs and other organs may be hit- but not those three Skull/Brain/Neck. That is my take on it, but, best to see what Colin has to say. ;) Respect,

BCKidd.

Thank you, Brian.
Actually I'm not hiding. Frequently checking on mini comp results and see EduT, Louis and others won so many of it.
I currently playing on the style that I've tried to avoid for years and what I can say .. I don't really proud of it.

Anyway, I have questions related to this comp
1. Is Snowshoe hare also required 200+m shot?
2. Is missed shot disqualified the hunt?

Thank you and see you all around

From what I gather, yes- all animals must be shot at >/=250m (Greater than or equal to). The Hare doesn't have to be hit in the Lungs (Hare exempt from that rule), all others tho', must be hit in the Lungs. Not sure if a missed shot DQ's the hunt, but I don't think so. All animals tho' have to die from one shot to be admissible. Hope that helps, and hopefully, Colin will clarify all this before the comp starts. It is his comp, I'm jus' sponsoring it, since I have no comps going. ;) Respect,

BCKidd.
