Somewhere in Canada. ;)

I had a very intense final hunt for this competition. Eleven in-game hours, 18 kms, 39 collectables, tracked 60 deer and finally got a 187 whitetail buck (and his little 186 brother as a little extra)!

That guy gets me back into third place, but we'll see if it holds for the final 24 hours. Did I mention I'd really love to have one of those amazing trophies...!?! :)

Some nice animals on the leaderboard folks! Unfortunately I had to cut my hunt short tonight and I won't get another opportunity to hunt before the end of the competition. This format calls for deep exploration of the reserve to be sure you find anything decent in the spawn. Unfortunately I was only able to find relatively small windows of opportunity to hunt but I had a great deal of fun despite the overwhelming lack of deer. So thanks BCKidd, for a fun competition. I really enjoyed the format and I'm looking forward to others. Good luck to everyone else with hunts remaining. It will be interesting to see how things transpire.

Wow! Yes, some very nice critters on the LB- and some very cool pictures on this thread. And that Muley, Makaan, awesome! Congrats Tann in gettin' back 3rd- we Canadians, solute you! Let's see if the LB changes, it jus' might. ;) Peace.

BCKidd.

Had to take a brake - 4.5hr into my 4th - picked up a couple points (if I don't screw up) but man, you really got to hunt this baby to scrape up anything that's out there. I did pick up yote #1000 this eve so a nice milestone.

Did my last hunt and what a joke.
After I spared a few puny WT I decided to shoot every male whitetail I saw (6).
Spotted a group of 4 male mule deer but far off, wind blowing wrong direction and they scattered at 175m away never to be seen again. :|
Spotted and shot a potential 56 yote, ended up being a measly 47. :|
Spotted a potential 1110 hog ended up 710. Spotted a potential 1250 hog ended up being a 826. :x
Logger's point seems to be a good place for birds and cats. I don't know how many of those I saw and didn't even bother lift the binoculars to build spotting skill.
I can't possibly see Settler's Creek being any worse. :?

Finished my 5 hunts last night. Like many others, I could not find a decent whitetail or mule deer. :( Oh well, all in all, a great comp. Thanks BCKidd, looking forward to the next one...
